Reservationless
Audio Conference Call Upgrade
The
audio conference call platform will be upgrading December 2, 2007.
Your dial-in numbers and passcodes will remain the same (unless
you received a change notice). The two changes are
- How
to start an audio conference call as the host/moderator. The moderator
used to enter only one PIN code to start the audio conference
call. Now the moderator enters two PIN codes to start the call
(see below instructions). There is no change with how attendees/participants
join a call
- The
keypad commands. Detailed instructions for both are provided below.

at any time. Options include:

Entry/Exit Announcements: How your participants are announced
when they enter the conference.
- Silence:
You will hear nothing when a participant enters your conference.
- Tone:
You will hear a distinct tone when a participant enters your
conference.
- Recorded
Name: You will hear a recorded name announcement each time
a participant enters your conference.
- Tone
and Recorded Name: You will hear both a distinct tone and
a recorded name announcement when a participant enters your
conference.
-
Quick Start: Enables conference participants to be able to speak
with each other before you are joined to the conference. NOTE:
If you select "Quick Start ON", participants may access
a conference without your knowledge or approval.
- Auto
Conference Continuation: Allows your participants to be able to
continue a conference after you, the leader, have disconnected.
- Project
Accounting Code (numeric only, via telephone key pad): This option
prompts the leader to enter up to a 20 digit numeric account code
for each audio conference call which displays on the invoice for
expense tracking.
- Subconferencing;
Providers the ability to transfer your participants into break-out
session or subconference. When enabled you will have the ability
to transfer participants between up to nine subconferences and
the main conference. Simply instruct the participants you wish
to transfer to press "*9" then the desired subconference
number (1-9) when prompted. Participants may return to the main
conference by pressing "*9" again.
- Waiting
Room: When enabled guests dialing in for your call are placed
on music hold until you are ready for them to join. This feature
is particularly useful when you have "back-to-back "
